Question: I have very sore and chapped lips that will not go away.

Can you please send a picture of your sore and chapped lips?
Can you also tell if you have had any symptom related to flu? cold? fever? headache? eating/drinking hot/spicy/chilly/citrus foods/drinks respectively recently?
For the moment, I advise to:
- get plenty of water
- do not peel off the dry area
- lip balms can help regenerate the affected area
- if any cold/flu symptom, and if it is a cold sore, then, acyclovir cream should be applied locally
