Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain
I've been suffering from chest pains for quite sometime and upon visiting a doctor, I was advised not to stress or be upset. I don't stress and I enjoy working as I always have; although I find that when there's some negativity in the air or a situation that could possibly upset or make one sad, I feel the pains again. Tests did not show anything conclusive. How can I get rid of this?
Need to do the stress management
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
Considering your age and details provided by you about situation of pain I feel your doctor is right in advising to not to take stress.
I understand that you may not feel the stress but it becomes obvious through chest pain or some other complaints.
I am writing down few of the strategies to manage stress and hopeful that they will be useful in every sphere of your life.
1. Diet: Ensure intake of adequate quantity of fiber. 2 servings of vegetable salad and 2 servings of fruits (One preferable citrus fruit).
2. Ensure adequate water intake: Follow rule of 1 which i usually advise. 1 glass of water 1 hour before and 1 glass of water 1 hour after every meals will ensure adequate consumption of water . Recommended intake of water is 2 to 3 liter a day.
3. Early morning Exercise: Brisk walking for 30 minutes at a stretch preferably in garden will be very helpful. Believe me it makes wonders. There is no need to go to gym or use any expensive workout instruments.
4. Avoid tea/coffee/ nicotine and alcoholic beverages: If at all you want to drink something, drink fresh lime water.
5. Start your day with a glass of Lemon water with 2 spoons of honey added. have a good breakfast.
Include glass of milk and boiled egg in your breakfast.
6. Don't take work so seriously: We all have the feeling to excel in our respective fields and don't spend adequate time with our own self trying to understand our own needs.
Spend time with your family and friends.
7. While working take frequent regular breaks: Taking regular breaks will not waste the time, but it will definitely increase the productivity, concentration and reasoning. Take break for 5 minutes every 30 minutes.
Close your eyes and rotate the eye balls for couple of minutes
8. Avoid late night socialization
9. Avoid starring for longer time at the computer screen or TV for longer time, as long as possible
10. Steam inhalation before going to sleep will be very refreshing.
11. Multivitamin and Calcium supplement.
12. Avoid tea/coffee/carbonated beverages / alcohol
13. Meditation and Yoga
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.

I shall follow the given steps.
I have been given to understand that coffee (caffeine) in the morning is good for your brains. I take 1 in every morning. Do you suggest I stop the same?
In your comments, you have not mentioned anything about feeling upset. Is it possible that that is related to stress too?
Thanks again.
Being upset is mostly manifestation of stress
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for revering to back.
I am happy to know that the information was useful and you are going to follow this.
Regarding coffee one to three coffee is generally good for your brain but excessive coffee intake produces opposite effects on your heart and brain. You do not need to stop the one cup of coffee that you are taking.
Combined coffee and tea should not be exceeded by five cups in 24 hour period that need to taken care of.
Being upset is closely related to stress or in other words it is outward expression of being in stress. We become upset mostly when we are facing some situation in our life.
I hope this clarifies the situation further.
