Suggest Treatment For Chocolate Cyst In Left Ovary

Question: Hi,

I am having big chocolet cyst in left overy (As per medical report) and right overy follicular cyst at the moment.
Since middle of 2011 doctor prescribe gonablok+chrominac-A to end of 2013 and my cyst size came to 2.2mm then she started my period for
pregnency. Again Cyst size of left overy become large/unrecognization within six month of period starts.
But as per follicular studies my ovulation of right overy is OK and left overy is now covered with cyst(measure of right overy
is 36.3X27.6X27.2mm and left overy 61.5X51.6X58.3mm).
My husnend done Symen analysis and problem not found.

Note: after period start I was used oosure continue, Good ova 50(for 5 days).

Please advice I am waiting for pregnency and intercourcing between 11 to 18 days after period every month(since last six month).
I am 27+ Yrs old and husbend is 34 Yrs.

Please advice.

After studying your history and reports in my practice i advise you should get a laparoscopy as soon as possible because
- medical management of endometriosis failed to cure endometriosis
- endometriosis interferes with egg quality and endometrial health
- tubal patency testing can be done.

SURGICAL REMOVAL OF CHOCLATE CYST AND OVARIAN DRILLING OF THE OTHER OVARY WITH CHROMOTUBATION is the best treatment of choice for you.

As you get pregnant the endometriosis would be taken care naturally by the factors during pregnancy. So pregnancy is the target for you.

Hi,

Thanks for your response. First step would be SURGICAL REMOVAL OF CHOCLATE CYST or HSG And also update if any further pregnancy test is required other then HSG,USG, FStudy, Symen A.

Also advice which " tubal patency testing" will be best.

Laparoscopy for tubal patency and cyst removal

Hello XXXXXX, good to see you again.

Laparoscopy is the best and first investigation you need along with semen analysis of husband.
Removal of chocolate cyst and laparoscopy will be done at the same time.

After laparoscopy is over and tubes are found patent then follicular study from next cycle onwards along with ovulation induction.

HSG is not advocated these days because of high false positive cases seen and extreme pain involved.
