i am suffering from chronic acid reflux and bloating and belching for the last 10 years . During acute phases, excessive gas causes acute nervous discomfort including dizziness unsteady walking , loss of balance and pulling to left side while walking, brain fog, stroke like symptoms. The symptoms disappear after bloating subsides. Recently i had an ultra sound & upper GI endoscopy which was normal. No ulcers or H. pylori. Now intestine is suspected. Hi there...
Thanks for writing in...
I wanted to know ...have you tried having probiotics like lactobacillus?
Have you been on pantoprazole or some antacids.
If no cause can be found in the intestine on colonoscopy, Irritable Bowel Syndrome IBS
is more likely.
Also get a routine check up with Blood pressure reading, TSH, blood sugars, cholesterol levels etc.
Avoid tea,coffee,carbonated beverages,alcohol and smoking.
Avoid oily, deep fried food.
I would advise you to have smaller frequent meals, rather than 3 large meals a day.
Drink warm water at regular intervals which will help in digestion.
Try having probiotics like lactobacillus.
Maintain a food diary to see which food triggers symptoms ..and avoid those foods.
Do yoga daily to combat stress and to help with good digestion and bowel movements.
Hope this helps.
