Suggest Treatment For Chronic Acne Problem
salicylic acid facewash n creams to resolve acne
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.
Acne is a condition which starts in teenage years n goes on till the age of 26 or 27. Slowly in your case pimples will stop appearing. However if you have hormonal imbalance in the form of irregular periods then you can get acne even after the age of 27.
I would recommend that you start using a salicylic acid face wash once or twice a day. It can cause a little dryness hence you can start using it once and then make it twice if there is no dryness.
The facewash should be able to reduce the acne.
I would recommend application of a cream which is a combination of clindamycin gel and benzoyl peroxide gel for faster resolution to be applied once daily.
Also a gel containing adapalene to be applied at night for two hours and washed off , on full face.
You can continue with minoz.
Please make sure to discontinue medications when you are planning to start your family.
Hopefully all these measures should help resolve your concern.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
Take care
And currently I am using clean& clear face wash followed by moisturiser(prescribed by doctor). Is it okie.
And one final question like.. what king of food habit will be suitable for me. I am a non-vegeterian.
And one more question. Whether I need to scrub my face periodically to remove dead cells ? (Sorry for asking too many queries ;) )
0.1 % adapalene gel is fine

Hello
Thanks for your reply.
You can use 0.1% adapalene gel.
You don't need to use a scrub, but if you want to use one, you could once a week.
You must avoid junk food and colas. Eating healthy food like lots of salad and green leafy vegetables will be more helpful.
Clean n clear face wash is fine but if it doesn't have salicylic acid then it's best to get one with salicylic acid. Neutrogena is a good brand.
Applying too much of moisturizer can increase pimples. Hence you need to use only as much as required.
Take care
