Suggest Treatment For Chronic Burning Pain Over Left Hip And Pelvic Area
Question: Chronic burning over left hip and pelvic pain. Also hurts in back of hip near lower back. Going on for 3 months. At wits end. Have had numerous test including urology work up hysteroscopy, colonoscopy, pelvic mri, abdominal mri, hip xray and hip arthrogram mri of Lu bar spine and ilioinguinal nerve block. Nothing works. Intense hot pain radiates from pelvis over hip. Very scared. Leg aches and foot gets cold.

From location of pain and its distribution, I think there is a neuropathic pain from entrapment nerve syndrome. Most probably there is a entrapment of Superior Cluneal Nerve, a nerve that supplies area you describe. Meralgia parenthetica should be considered too.
