Suggest Treatment For Chronic Diarrhea

Question: I have had chronic diarrhea for over a year (possibly more).
My aunt on my mother's side has colon cancer and another aunt had celiac disease. My daughter also has diagnosed celiac disease. I have had the celiac test done (both tests) about 3 years ago and it showed up that I did not have celiac disease. I would like to know what to do, and if it could be my stomach or bowels?
I would like to heal my gut and get my bowels working properly.
Thank you,
XXXXXXX XXXX

Brief Answer:
Try A good probiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in
With the history that you have provided and negative reports for celiac disease
I would put this as a case of chronic collitis unless proved otherwise
It would be advisable to go for a stool culture and in the mean time you may start with a good probiotic twice a day
Once you have given the sample for culture you may start with a 10 day medication of Ofloxacillin 400 mg twice a day and Ornidazole 500 mg twice a day
Once the culture report is with you you may shift the antibiotics as per the sensitivity reports
Hope this helps
