Brief Answer:
Computer headache or migraine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I understand your concerns. You are having what is most commonly called as computer headache. Computer headaches are one of the main causes of chronic daily headaches.

The main reasons are due to - eyestrain and poor posture while working on computer.

There are a few things you can do to help alleviate eyestrain:
- Reduce the glare
- Increase the text size.
- Avoid staring at the screen continuously: Its called the “20-20-20 advice” for this: Every 20 minutes, look at something that’s at least 20 feet away, for 20 seconds.
- Take breaks: Every 45 minutes, get up and take a 10-15 minute break,
- Avoid over-bright office space like sun-filled windows, overhead fluorescent lights, other computers, and desk lamps.

Avoid posture-causing headaches at your computer:
- Adjust your monitor angle and height: Position the screen slightly below eye level so your neck is slightly bent down, keeping your neck vertebrae open.
- Check the position of your shoulders while typing, so that they’re not slumped forward and yet relaxed.
- Position your keyboard and work equipment so that they’re at a comfortable distance and not straining your neck or shoulders.
- Support your arms

Another significant cause of computer headaches is the impact that the electromagnetic fields (EMFs, radiations) generated by computers have on people. For that the only practical thing to do is to get "EMF protection for the computer."

As you say it is also associated with nausea (vomiting feeling) it can be mild migraine. The same remedies as mentioned above applies for the migraine too.

Also include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet, adequate sleep and exercises.

If your symptoms persists or worsens, it is best to meet a physician for a detailed examination and treatment.

I hope this answered your query.

Brief Answer:
Eye and neck exercises will reduce your headache.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

You can try these eye exercises:
- Blink more often.

- look away from your computer at least every 20 minutes and gaze at a distant object (at least 20 feet away) for at least 20 seconds.

- Palming : Rub your hands together for 10 to 15 seconds until they feel warm and energized. Then gently place your hands over your eyes, with the fingertips resting on the forehead, the palms over the eyes, and the heels of the hands resting on the cheeks. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and relax.

- Eye Rolling : Slowly circle your eyes in a clockwise direction, tracing as large a circle as possible.

- Without moving your head, look to the left. Focus on what you see. Then look right. Move your eyes side to side five times. Repeat this three times.

- Without moving your head, look down. Focus on what you see. Then, look up. Focus on what you see. Repeat this three times.

- Without moving your head, look straight ahead. Then, look down and to the left. Focus on what you see. Then, move your eyes diagonally and look up and to the right. Focus on what you see. Repeat this exercise three times.

- Then, look straight ahead and do the same exercise looking down and to the right and then looking up and to the left. Repeat this cycle three times.

- Neck exercises like up and down movement for three times with deep breaths and rotation of head will help alleviate your neck spasm and headache.

Fruits rich in vitamin C are good for eyes like oranges, lemon, gooseberry etc.

I hope this answered your query.
