Suggest Treatment For Chronic Sinusitis
Diagnostic tests for Chronic sinusitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query.
Following diagnostic tests may be required
1. Chronic sinusitis:
Nasal endoscopy to visually inspect the inside of your sinuses
CT or MRI scans can show details of your sinuses and nasal area. They also identify a deep inflammation or physical obstruction that's difficult to detect using an endoscope.
An allergy skin test can help to find out the allergen that's responsible for your nasal flare-ups, if any.
2. Fatty liver
Ultrasound to detect complications like cirrhosis, etc.
Liver function tests (particular liver enzymes)
CT scan.

What would you think is causing metallic smell for me? I am feeling pain in my hand's fingers and swells when I carry any things for long time. I am concerned with these two abnormal things happend to me.. Could you please tell me what might have caused them?
Metallic smell is due to sinusitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the metallic smell.
This altered sense of smelling is due to inflammation of the sinuses.
As far as pain and swelling is concerned, I would like to know about your age, gender and duration of this problem. I am requesting for extra details since I am unable to arrive at a concrete condition to explain those symptoms. However based on details provided yet (it is mentioned that the pain and swelling get aggravated on lifting the objects for long time) following are the possibilities: Sprain or any underlying arthritis (osteoarthritis) should be ruled out.
You need to be examined by an orthopedic doctor for proper assessment and treatment for this problem.
