Suggest Treatment For Chronic Tonsillitis
Seems to be chronic tonsillitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having tonsillitis with cough.
Answers and solutions for your health issues.
Recurrent episodes of tonsillar pain is seen in chronic tonsillitis secondary to post nasal drip of sinusitis, allergic rhinitis or infected tonsillolith (tonsillar stone).
As such, Lymphoma, is painless, unilateral enlargement of tonsil associated with multiple neck lymph node enlargement.
I do agree thrush is common with antibiotics (augmentin), but it will not cause severe persistent cough and will not respond to antioxident and antivirals.
I suggest you to consult ent surgeon, get detailed ent examination, x- ray chest (persistent cough) if necessary blood tests (complete blood picture with esr ( to rule out infection) and laryngoscopy( to see deeper part of throat and voice box). Treatment can be started as per the findings.
Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
