Question : Hi doctor! I am having cold and cough for over a month. Sometimes I get fever too. The cough is usually whitish is color. The doctor prescribed azithromcin and paracetomol for fever.Could someone what steps i should take.

Take medications as told by doctor and rest as much as possible.

You can take cetirizine along with these medication. it will reduce cough.

Cold and cough for month is pretty long, so get routine blood investigations and xray of PNS and chest done to see if there is other underlying issue.

Try steam inhalation, it will fasten recovery.

Eat balanced diet with adequate water.

Avoid extreme and dusty environment.
