
Suggest Treatment For Cold And Cough

Question: Daughter aged 2 years 10 months is having cold since 2 days. We have used T Minic syrup and the cold seems to have reduced, however cough started from today morning. Kindly advise appropriate medicine to control her cough and cold. Keeping you posted, Swine flu vaccination has been given to her on XXXXXXX 24, 2015.

Please tell me whether there is fever or not?
For cold continue syrup t-minic and also nasoclear nasal drops can be used if there is nose block.
For cough you can give syp. ventorlin or levolin (dose depends on weight).
Swine flu vaccination will not cause this type of symptoms.

Continue syp. t-minic and use nasal drops if required.
No need for antibiotics and paracetamol at present.
If there is fever, irritability, loss of apettite then see a doctor.
