Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

It's most likely due to congestion and inflammation involving the middle ear. Ibuprofen with pseudo ephedrine for 3 to 5 days should be enough to relieve the congestion and pain. Oil drops and mucolytics also help.

If it persists then the ear should be examined by your GP or an ENT doctor to assess the need for antibiotics.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
