Brief Answer:
seems to be viral illness.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having cold with heaviness in head.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be viral illness.

As such, viral illness is always self limiting one, it takes time to resolve. Can be managed with over the counter medications.

In my opinion, you can start tab.tylenol 500mg twice daily, tab.citrizine 10mg (zyrtec) one tab at bed time and nasal decongestant drops (otrivin-xylometazoline 3drops/3times). Antibiotics needed in complications like pneumonia or sinusitis.

Mean time, do steam inhalation to clear clogged sinus secretions.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
