Suggest Treatment For Cold Sores While Recovering From Sinusitis Infection
not a herpes for sure
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history and the attached photograph in detail.
As you have mentioned doctor, even i am not convinced about the lesions being that of herpes. These are not typical of an herpes infection and do seem to be due to a bacterial infection followed by strong antibiotics.
Herpes usually occurs on one side of the body with fever / with or without chills and severe pain (neuritic pain).
Neither does this seem to be a leaukemia nor any other such immune disorder.
To confirm the same you can anytime get you complete blood profile done along with bone marrow examination.
Instead of ER,i would suggest you to consult a nearby skin specialist and if needed do a culture / sensitivity and histopathology of the drained fluid from the lesions in order to confirm the exact diagnosis.
Avoid strong oral antibiotics as this may again aggravate the problems.
Only take multivitamins till then.
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.
Thank you.
Kind regards.
