Question: 9 month old infant stated with congestion and gagging and vomiting at 6 months. Started Allegra 2x
daily and vomiting and congestion improved. Allegra stopped and it returned. Know he has large adenoids.
Pediatrician wants to send for swallow test. Also has eczema-- Do you concur with recommendation or could something else be tried first?

You can discuss with your doctor about getting an allergy test done.
The allergic reactions as well as the adenoids regress with increase in age. But if the symptoms are severe enough, appropriate treatment has to be administered.
