Thanks for replying
I have consistent back pain - it is always in the same places and always the same kind of pain. I don't have any other pain in my body that would point to fibro.
I am a keen sports person - skiing/gymnastics/weight lifting.
I have always been very fit and healthy.
The beginning of 2015 my back got considerably worse and I was put on gabapentin/codeine/diazepam. By March 2015 I was not driving due to pain/immobility.
I went privately to have the MRI and other tests.
In XXXXXXX 2015 I was referred to the rheumatologist - I am hypermobile and he diagnosed the fibro.
I have since ditched all the tablets and just live in pain - some days good, some very bad. My spine feels bruised and extremely stiff. I have regular massage/chiropractor/acupuncture treatments.
I have started training regularly again (since sept 2016) and I am trying to build the strength in my back/hamstring/glutes etc.
I am very aware of my body and know when not to push myself.
Thanks for you help

Hello again and thanks for the additional information.
Fibromyalgia is a condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by memory, sleep, fatigue and mood problems, so, I don't think yours is a typical case of fibromyalgia.

Brief Answer:
MRI's explained below.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
I examined the MRI's you uploaded.
There is evidence of degenerative spine disease in your thoracic-lumbar spine, mostly in the lumbar levels, especially at lower lumbar levels, in form of articular facets hypertrophy, dehydration, and bulge of a part of intervertebral discs.
There is also scoliosis (mal-alignment) of your thoracic-lumbar spine.
The degree of scoliosis should be assessed correctly with plain radiographs in standing position of your thoracic-lumbar spine.
There seems to be no need for any surgical procedure that may improve your condition, however, a new MRI is necessary to evaluate your current condition since MRI's you uploaded are two years old.
In conclusion, your spine condition is most likely the cause of your symptoms.
Hope I helped you.
Take care.

Good morning
Thank you very much for your reply. I will get fresh MRI scans to assess the scoliosis.
Can you recommend how I should manage everything else? Also, I would like to get the fibromyalgia label taken off my medical records. Do you know how I can do this?
Kind regards and many thanks

Brief Answer:
Plain radiographs are necessary to.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Besides MRI, plain radiographs of your vertebral column in standing position are necessary to evaluate the correct degree of the scoliosis.
Discuss with your primary care Doctor about ordering these examinations and about correcting your medical records.
Hope I helped you so far.
In good health.
