Suggest Treatment For Constipation, Abdominal Discomfort And Testicle Pain

1. Is this discomfort due to Kidney Stones/Infections or some other nerve problem.
2. Ultrasound states Dilatation of renal pelvis whereas Sonogram report states merely 3 mm calculus in right kidney. Why this difference?
3. Why did the discomfort return after stopping Cifran 500?
4. Should I start taking Ston 1 b6, which urologist suggested for kidney stones. I have my own doubts after taking Urimax for a day.
In the past, I have suffered similar discomfort last year but since Ultrasound did not reveal anything my family doctor adviced me to take Neurokind G and the problem was resolved. But this time, since I suffered testicle pain with abdominal discomfort, he referred me to Urologist.
How do I tackle this problem?

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your elaborate query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I shall address your queries in the order you have asked them for your better understanding:
1. In my opinion, the discomfort is due to the stone sir. As long as the stone is there, there is an increased chance to infections. Some stones which are much bigger 5-6 mm in size, but are not causing any obstruction of urine can be silent stones. Whereas, some stones which are as small as 2-3 mm and somehow get lodged and cause obstruction of urine can result in symptoms (like the ones you mentioned you do not have).
The stagnation of urine due to obstruction by a stone in the urinary tract, results in growth of bacteria and in turn results in an infection. So it is not the infection that causes the main problems and symptoms, but the main cause for your problems is the stone. We need to treat the stone and not the symptoms.
2. An ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis concentrates mainly on the abdominal organs, and does not pay as much attention on the kidney, ureter and urinary bladder (KUB) as much as an ultrasound KUB does. So, I would say an ultrasound KUB would be more accurate and precise in finding the cause for any symptoms. A stone can result in dilation of the renal pelvis which was seen on the ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis, but the cause for the dilation was seen only on the ultrasound KUB.
3. The symptoms that present are mainly when the stone goes and lodges itself resulting in obstruction of flow of urine in the renal or urinary tract. This obstruction leads to stagnation of urine and bacteria on top of it. This in turn results in the symptoms. If antibiotics are administered, the symptoms will reduce or even disappear, but the symptoms will return for sure because the antibiotics are only treating the symptoms and not the main problem - which is the stone.
4. Yes, you should start taking ston-1 B6. Urimax is used when there is obstruction of urine mainly caused by an enlarged prostate, and should not have really been prescribed in your case. Whereas, ston-1 B6 is the right treatment as it helps in breakdown of the stone, which if successful should solve all your problems sir.
The reason why neurokind G helped you in the past sir was because it was a vascular problem most probably brought upon by your diabetes, but this time due to the clear symptoms like testicular pain the problem is in the renal system and not a vascular or diabetes related issue.
I hope you find my response helpful. I also hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you sir. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.

Thanx for giving clear picture about the causes and symptoms. Does stone lodged in mid clayx of right kidney cause problem in Kidney Collection System and Urinary Tract? I have been adviced to take Ston 1 B6 twice daily on 22.07.2014 for 60 days, which in introspect I should have started but was wary because of the problem created by URIMAX. Does Ston 1 B6 dissolve the stone? What are the side effects of Ston 1b6? is it safe for lower weight person like me to have the same. I am already taking Jalra50/850 for Diabetes, SM Fibro for Geographic Tongue and Con Cor Cor 2.5 mg to lowering heart rate/BP and Rabelet D for acidity. Will Ston 1 B6 aggravate the problem already I have. Is there any herbal remedy for the same like Stonvil since I do not want to load my body with more of chemicals. Already I landed up in this kidney stone problem after trying to resolve the tongue problem with lots of multivitamin as per the advice of ENT. Seeking your advice and directions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
A stone lodged anywhere in the renal system can either directly block the flow of urine or can cause a protrusion which can in turn apply pressure on the renal tract and block or obstruct the flow of urine. So yes, a stone lodged in the mid-calyx of the right kidney can cause an issue with urine collection in the renal or urinary tract.
Ston-1 B6 does contribute to dissolve smaller stones to a certain extent and should not pose any problems to a lean individual like yourself sir.
Side effects are rarely seen and include diarrhea, drowsiness, gastric irritation, abdominal pain, abdominal bloating, increased thirst, nausea/vomiting, tiredness, shortness of breath, and many others. But if at all you experience any side effects you can report them to your prescribing doctor who will prescribe you a substitute medication which will suit you and not produce any undesired side effects.
Ston-1 B6 should not interact with any of the medications you are on or aggravate any of these conditions; I would just advice monitoring of your heart rate for a few days while on the medication, if all is normal then there is nothing to worry about at all.
As for a herbal remedy, I am not really sure about other fields of medicine and would also like to mention that ston-1 B6 contains very mild components which can at times even be used along with other herbal components in herbal medicine.
I hope I have explained all aspects of your queries in a manner best understood by you sir. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes sir.
