Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
Mostly because of anal fissure you are having difficulty to pass stools.
I would like to know when you took medications (Duphalac and antibiotics).
Are you taking any medications currently?
You told that you had history of amebiosis in past. Hence I am asking about medications.
Since how many months are you having anal fissure? Did you take any treatment for that?
Kindly get back to me with details.
Thank you.

Hello Doctor,
I have took it almost before 6 months. No, I am not taking any medications for this currently.
I am having anal fissure for almost an year now. Doctor said, it's not as severe to consider for treatment/surgery. He suggested the lubricant gel and warm water sit-up's for as treatment for fissure.
Thank you.

Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for your information.
Only thing you need to do avoid constipation.
And also you have to maintain your diet to avoid constipation and to make stools softer. Constipation or difficulty in pass a stool may worsen anal fissure and because of fissure also you find difficulty in passing stool.
I suggest you eat high fiber contains food like oats, vegetables and fruits.
Do not eat food 2 hours before going bed and avoid late night food.
Drink plenty of water which makes stool softer.
If you have pain in anal area then I suggest you do Sitz bath (take hot water in tub and add some salt and sit in tub for 15 minutes) twice a day.
If you are feeling very difficulty in passing stools then you can take Duphalac before bed for 5 days. You can use lubricant gel as well.
Diet is very important to make bowel movement smooth.
If your symptoms persist then better visit your doctor for local examination to know about progression of anal fissure.
If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
