Suggest Treatment For Constipation

The colonoscopy showed nothing, everything was good and so did the ct scan. There were no blockages just fekal buildup. He never experiences the movement in the intestines to make the fekal move without taking laxatives.
Every doctor that hes visited tells him to eat alot of fibre which he does but its the movement in the intestines that he does not get for a bowl movement. He will go to any lengths to get some advice.

Hi,
Thanks for your question on HCM
I do understand your pain and discomforts
As per your history is concerned you have already done investigations to ruled out major pathological disorders and doctor has tried his best by giving laxatives so in my opinion do some natural remedy at home may help him-
1)Being a stimulant laxative, castor oil stimulates the small and large intestines and improves the bowel movement. Simply swallow two teaspoons of castor oil on an empty stomach. To improve the taste, you can take it with a fruit juice.
2)Honey is highly beneficial in relieving constipation as it acts as a mild laxative. You can have it daily to prevent as well as treat constipation. You can also mix one tablespoon each of honey and lemon juice in a glass of warm water. Drink it every morning on an empty stomach.
3)Grapes contain insoluble fiber that helps produce regular bowel movements. Eat a small bowl of grapes or half a glass of fresh grape juice daily.
Hope that helps

It is somewhat of a lazy bowl?
Could an adhesion be causing a restriction in the intestines and not come up on the ct scan?

Do physical activity which will increase muscle activity in your intestines.Try to be fit in exercise most days of the week.Take your time in the bathroom, allowing yourself enough time to have a bowel movement without distractions and without feeling rushed and do not ignore the urge to have a bowel movement.
