Suggest Treatment For Continuous Cough
I had cases of sexual exposure two times. First case condom was slipped. I did antibody test after 14 weeks and result was negative. Second case was condom protected vaginal sex. Check condom later on and it was intact. But this time performed deep kissing as well. Partner was Comercial sex worker.
Questions:
1. Is there any chance of HIV?
2. Is it HIV related symptoms?
3. Does my CBC report shows any HIV infection?
4. What do you feel from my report?
5. I am going to XXXXXXX after 5 days and then I will do complete ENT check-up, in the mean time what shall I do?
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understood your concerns very well.
My answer is going to be in same order as you asked.
1...NO
2... NO
3.. CBC report doesn't show any HIV and moreover one can not find HIV through CBC report.
4...your reports are normal except slight high values of eosinophil which again is normal .
5.. Your symptoms suggest it to be either sinusitis or reflux acid disease called as GERD.Consult a doctor and get investigated thoroughly.
Take steam twice a day.Sleep with head end raised by few inches from ground.Avoid spicy and fatty foods.Eat your dinner 3 hours before going to bed.
Avoid alcohol and smoking,if any.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck

Is increased eosinophil has any indication of HIV infection?
This prolonged throat problem making me crazy. I have wet phlegm generating continuously. I think its the deposition of phlegm on throat wall creating itchiness. Am I right? How to avoid it?
Although kissing doesn't result in HIV infection but a deep oral kissing can cause HIV infection if There is cut in the tongue of both the partners and There is direct blood to blood contact.
Increased eosinophil count is due to the allergic phenomenon and not due to HIV infection.
Your continuous phlegm seems to be due to the post nasal drip which might be being caused by sinus infection.
Avoiding cold drinks, taking more of hot liquids, steam inhalation and warn saline gargles is the answer now.
Get yourself investigated and diagnosed and then a proper treatment shall make you all right.
Don't worry as things should settle gradually.
Thanks
When excess mucus produced in nasal passages runs backwards in the throat,it is called as post nasal drip.
It can be caused by cold, flu, change of temperature, fumes etc.
