Suggest Treatment For Continuous Sore Throat And Fever
upper respiratory ract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
Sore throat and fever indicate the presence of an upper respiratory tract infection.
I generally do not recommend antibiotics till 5 days after onset of symptoms, since most upper respiratory tract infections are viral in nature and need only symptomatic treatment.
Since you have started the antibiotic, please complete the course.
You can take pain killers like ibuprofen if the pain is not responding to Dolo.
Do warm salt water gargling 5 times daily and drink plenty of warm fluids.
Avoid cold foods and air conditioning.
I am glad to know that your counts are normal. If fever does not come down then you will need additional blood tests and also have to do the counts again.
For the loose stools, do not stop the antibiotic. Take probiotics and drink plenty of curds.
