With a sudden onset of shivering, body ache and mild fever, the first diagnosis of viral flu is to be considered. Little dry coughing also can be seen in this condition. You should get well in a week. If you do not get well in a week after taking symptomatic medications then detailed tests are needed.

Combiflam contains ibuprofen + paracetamol and both are pain relievers and reduces fever, it is to be taken after food.

Calpol is paracetamol and also is a pain killer and given in fever. Similar to combiflam in function and to be taken after food.

Gudcef 200 is cefpodoxime 200 mg tablet which is antibiotic belonging to class Cephalosporins and is a prescription medication. You should not have started taking this medicine without asking a doctor. Since you have started taking and two doses are already over, it is better to continue taking it twice a day for 5 days as long you do not have any side effects to the medication. Please discuss this with your doctor and take a prescription. If you have any side effects then please report to your doctor immediately.

You need to continue taking Calpol as required every 6 or 8 hours till you have fever and body ache. With this you also need to take medications to prevent gastritis. Tablet pantoprazole marketed as PAN 40 is available to avoid gastritis and this is to be taken on empty stomach for 5 days. This is also a prescription medication and please consult your doctor for a prescription.

If there is no improvement even after 5 days then please go back to your doctor for more detailed evaluation and tests.

Please take rest for few days and eat home cooked food. Drink lots of water and fresh juices.

Since you have had a heavy meal last night, it can be due to indigestion that you had vomiting. There is a medication PAN D which contains pantoprazole 40 mg (for gastritis) and domperidone 30 mg (for vomiting). This is an alternative to PAN 40 and is to be taken in an emergency if you are also having vomiting. This is also a prescription medication.

In your case, if you are having vomiting and indigestion also then you can take PAN D instead of PAN 40. However please ask your doctor for prescription.
