Thanks Dr XXXXXXX for your reply.
Answer are below for your questions:
1.She got the fever Tuesday night(28th July). It went up as high as 101.5. She was playing but energy level was lesser.
2.Cough is there from past 1 week.
3. Not as such. But yes, because of closed nose, while sleeping, it is making noise. She also vomitted "only cough" twice.
4. Wednesday Morning, she had a very little food. At night she had a chapati. She is not willing to have anything including milk fruits etc. Water consumption is also low.
5. Probably my 3rd answer would have replied this question.
6.No, cough is not so frequent for her. The whether is cold in XXXXXXX and she has just started going to school from last month and more contagious to open place.

Suggestions on cough and cold
Detailed Answer:
Hi...by what you quote this looks like a viral infection to me. Please do not start Clavam. It's a powerful antibiotic not to be used in viral illness like this.
Cough and cold are viral 95% of the times in children. For cold you can use anti-allergics like cetirizine and for nose block, saline nasal decongestants will do.
If there is fever - Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose (max ceiling dose 500mg) every 4-6th hourly, that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.
For cold you can use Cetrizine at 0.25mg/kg/dose every 12 hourly for 3 days.
For nasal block, plain saline nasal drops will do, every 4-6th hourly to relive nasal congestion.
If the cough is severe enough to disturb her sleep and cause vomiting, you can use Syrup Phenergan (Promethazine), as she's above 3 years old now. The dose is 3.5ml twice a day for 3 days.
Except the saline nasal drops and Paracetamol mentioned above, the other 2 are prescription drugs.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
