Suggest Treatment For Cough And Runny Nose Caused By A Non-allergic Rhinitis

Question: I have been diagnosed with non-allergic rhinitis and have been receiving treatment for several years for the problem. I use Flonase and Symbicort daily. I realize that numerous things can spark a bad reaction and since Friday i have experienced coughing, runny nose, and a lot of congestion (clear). I have been blowing my nose a lot and using the meds mentioned. Today, I am starting to feel better and my appetite has returned. Also, I believe I have figured out what caused this problem. Do I need to see a doctor or should i simply continue keeping an eye on the problem. Thank you. Allen Cornwell

Brief Answer:
If improvement continues, you can monitor

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcaremagic

If your symptoms were persisting with no improvement then you would need to see your doctor for assessment .Since you have noted some positive changes and also have an idea about the cause, you can monitor for now.
A decongestant may also help with symptom relief, these are over the counter.

I this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
