Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
What you are reporting may be a reflexive response to palpitations (arrhythmia) or acid reflux (heartburn).
However before concluding that it's important to exclude pulmonary origin of cough.
If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations to find out what is causing your symptoms:
- Blood work
- Chest X-ray
- Ecg
- Cardiac echo
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Upper endoscopy
- Spirometry (respiratory functional test)
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
