Suggest Treatment For Cramps And Throbbing Pain Along With Vaginal Bleeding
Question: my mom has no health insurance at moment but has some strange symptoms. She is 58 and been menopause since 3-4 years ago, but she suddenly had a period for 4 dAYS OF bleeding and now spotting. She had cramping type or throbbing pains on her left side by her fallopian tubes. she also had an episode of gushing water - urge to urinate but it was rush of water & then the bleeding. Today, she had a strange wet spot of oil of her shirt - her skin was oily from no where on her chest/ stomach & her shirt has half drenched from one moment to the next. Any tips on what this might be or if she should go to ER. She doesn't want to go until her Covered CA kicks in 45 days. Thanks, M

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Post menopausal bleed is never normal and always pathological. it needs immediate work up and evaluation to rule out sinister causes underneath. Cervical examinations and pap smears need to be taken along with work up to find out the possible cause. Please visit a local ObGyn at an earliest convenience as it can be god forbid malignancy and delaying it may spread it.
I hope it helps. Take good care of your mom and dont forget to close the discussion please.
