Suggest Treatment For Cyst In Right Wrist
Question: I have a CYST in the right wrist very close to the yugular vein is it bad if I don't remove it
Brief Answer:
It can be left alone.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
The cyst which you have is most likely a ganglion cyst. This type of lesion is not dangerous and can be left alone. The only problem it gives is wrist pain. Its location (close to yugular vein) does not make it bad. Just in case of surgery, the surgeon should be careful to do not injury it.
And if you want to leave it alone, nothing wrong will happen. You may try to drain it with needle (surgeon can do that instead of surgery).
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
