Neutropenia; possible causes discussed sir
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The normal range of neutrophils is 1500 - 6000. You had a normal range, and now have a level lower than normal. This is called neutropenia.
Neutropenia has various causes but the ones that can be implied in your case are the following:
+Possible infection
+Nutrient deficiencies (e.g. vitamin B12 deficiency)
+Anemia
+Certain medications
+Conditions affecting the bone marrow
In my opinion, the discontinuation of your multivitamins may have suddenly shut down the supply for other nutrients that were already deficient in your body (e.g. vitamin B12), and the discontinuation of your multivitamins may have caused the drop in your neutrophil level. But this will have to be co-related and considered only if all other possible causes are ruled out.
I would also like to ask whether you chose to discontinue your multivitamins or your doctor suggested it? If you discontinued it yourself, then please restart it; but if your doctor asked you to discontinue it then please do not restart it. Re-visit your doctor to check on all your nutrient values, and directly correct only the one deficient. At the same time your doctor may choose to rule out other causes for the neutropenia.
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
My sincere apologies for that, and thank you for your patience

Hello once again sir.
My sincere apologies, I do not know how I misread the very clearly provided information. Some of the information above still stands, but I would like to write a fresh set of information for you sir for my negligence.
Low lymphocyte count is called lymphopenia and the causes for a drop in your lymphocyte count include:
+Infections
+Use of steroids
+Anemia
+Autoimmune conditions
+Chemotherapy or radiotherapy
+Cancer
+Certain inherited conditions (very rare): One example includes Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome
Your neutrophil count has raised but is still within normal range, but supports causes like anaemia, infections, medication-associated, nutrient deficiencies, etc.
I would like to confirm your vitamin B12 level is 40 pg/mL? If so, this is indeed quite low and could be related to most of the laboratory findings.
I would like to once again extend my sincere apologies, and would like to hear from you in order to help you further.
Best wishes sir.
B1 = 12
B6 = 54 (High)
B12 = 409 (Low normal)
Ferritin Serum = 666 (High)
Less likely to be due to any of the listed nutrients; need to check others
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
Okay, thank you for that correction :)
Although a few values are border-line they can at times cause neutrophil count fluctuations, and although this is a possibility (less likely) it can only be considered if all other factors are ruled out.
So I would suggest a check on all other possible causes and elaborately ruling them out by your doctor and sufficient and more laboratory findings to support the diagnosis. So I would urge you to take up all the causes for such a presentation with your doctor.
Best wishes.
