I read your question and i understand your concern. Like any other stones cystine stones are very manageable, depending on the location and size of the stone, stones can be easily removed via minimal invasive surgeries not to speak of dying from it. Underlying cause of cysteine stones like cystinuria should be managed . Adequate hydration, urine alkalinization, medications like D penicillamine, alpha MPG etc . Procedure of removing the stone depends on type of location. So talk to your urologist and let them help.
