Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots On Buttocks
Need some help from you to help you further sir
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I would first like to learn a little more about your query and condition sir.
-By dark-spotted butt, did you mean you have dark spots on your buttock region/gluteal region? If so, could you tell me since when you have them, and describe them further? Do they pain when pressure is applied to them? Do they bleed, ooze fluid, etc? All information in regards to their description will greatly help sir.
-By butt-acne did you mean you have acne/boils/bumps on your buttock region? Could you explain where exactly on your buttocks these are present and since when you have them?
-I would also like you to know that you can attach an image of the affected region to our discussion if you are comfortable, so I can visually examine them? If you plan on doing so, please make sure the images are clear for accurate examination sir.
-Please also let me know how you would rate your level of hygiene on a scale of 0 to 5. 0 being very poor, and 5 being extra precautious and careful about personal hygiene. Please also mention the frequency of your showers (how often), changing of inner wear, etc.
I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further sir.
Best wishes sir.
Q1. By dark-spotted butt, did you mean you have dark spots on your buttock region/gluteal region? If so, could you tell me since when you have them, and describe them further? Do they pain when pressure is applied to them? Do they bleed, ooze fluid, etc? All information in regards to their description will greatly help sir.
Response: Yes, i meant dark spots on my buttock region and I have them since a long time(do not even remember exactly since when). They are just dark spots, darker than the rest of my skin anywhere else on my body. They do not bleed or ooze fluid generally but sometimes, rarely so, i get pimples with pus on the butt.
Q2. By butt-acne did you mean you have acne/boils/bumps on your buttock region? Could you explain where exactly on your buttocks these are present and since when you have them?
Response: They keep appearing at different spots on the buttocks. I do not have them right at this point in time but they keep coming and drying up.
Q3. I would also like you to know that you can attach an image of the affected region to our discussion if you are comfortable, so I can visually examine them? If you plan on doing so, please make sure the images are clear for accurate examination sir.
Response: 2 pics attached. Hope they serve the purpose
Q4. Please also let me know how you would rate your level of hygiene on a scale of 0 to 5. 0 being very poor, and 5 being extra precautious and careful about personal hygiene. Please also mention the frequency of your showers (how often), changing of inner wear, etc.
Response: Hygiene - I would rate it 4/5. Showers - at least once a day, twice a day when i exercise in the evenings , changing of inner wear - each time after i shower.
Let me know if there is anything else you need to know.
I understand and have provided a few remedies
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir and thank you so much for that information.
All the information coupled with the images have provided me with a clear picture of what you have been experiencing, but do not worry. This is not a serious problem, and is commonly encountered, especially by individuals belonging to the colored races.
Some of the most common causes for such a presentation are:
-Scar tissue formed after acnes
-Hyperpigmentation commonly seen in colored races
-Sitting for long durations
-Chronic conditions like diabetes
-Fungal infections
and a few others.
But I shall provide you with some home remedies which are much more effective in improving the pigmentation of the region and will also not cause any harm to your skin as we are not going to use any medications that contain chemicals.
Please try the following remedies:
-Mix 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of sandlewood powder, 1 tablespoon of honey, with a little XXXXXXX water or normal water and half a lemon and make a paste. This mixture can be applied to the buttock region for a duration of about 20 minutes a day. With daily application, you should see results within a duration of 15 days. This mixture is especially helpful to even reduce acne or prevent them.
-Another remedy is the direct application of lemon juice to the affected region, and leave for about 15 minutes each day. Then rinse it off with XXXXXXX warm water or take a shower, and make sure you apply a moisturizing cream to the region. You should observe good results soon.
I would also request you to avoid the following:
-Do not sit in the same place for a long duration of time, get up and move around to help improve blood circulation to the buttock region
-Avoid wearing tight undergarments as they reduce blood delivery to the buttock region
-Try not to leave the buttock region damp. Make sure you wipe your buttocks dry after a shower, if you use water to wash your anal region after passing your bowels make sure you use tissue after that to wash them dry
-If your back or buttock region sweats easily, make sure you wear both a vest as well as undergarments which will soak your sweat. Change your inner wear once you get home or get a chance after sports to do so
-Wash your buttock region well while taking a shower, as just getting them wet and not cleaning them with soap can result in fungal infections
If at all you do not see an improvement even after one month of following my provided remedies, then write back to me and I shall guide you further. Very rarely, some individuals have dormant fungal infections that require addressing, but as you do not have any acne at the moment I doubt you have any infections.
I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications sir. I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes.
