It is too early to prognosticate.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
In the first place, it seems extremely unlikely that 2-3 months of carrying a baby would deform her rib bones to that extent.
The more likely possibility is that the child was born with this deformity. How can we make sure? The only way would be to take her to a radiologist and request X rays of her spine and chest. The deformities will be seen clearly, and after that, the pediatrician may well contact the X ray doctor to arrive at a proper diagnosis and plan her treatment in a better way in tandem with a XXXXXXX doctor such as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
The pictures show what is called an in-turned xiphi-sternum. This can even be normal. So, don't worry if the child has no breathing problems or any other symptoms.
Hope this helps. Do revert to me again with your child's Xrays.
Wishing her and you a life free of pain,
Dr. Taher
