Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
If your menses are delayed and you are sexually active then you must rule out pregnancy first and if negative then you should actually wait for at least 2 weeks post missed periods to allow menses to return.
If not then you may opt for a progesterone withdrawal with tab meprate 10mg twice a day for 5 days , available on prescription. The menses should arrive in next 5-7 days after finishing the course.
