Brief Answer:
You are suffering from catamenial migraine

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of catamenial migraine. In this type, headaches are mostly related to periods.

There are two options in allopathy. First one is to take medicines to relieve headaches, such as NAPROXEN, RIZACT or sumatriptan, as and when you get headaches.

The second option is to start preventive medications for 10-15 days per month, starting 3-4 days before periods. Options include topiramate or flunarizine.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
