Hi
Since your mom is having deteriorating ribs as a result of radiation therapy i would advise her to take Ibandronate tablets
Ibandronate is in a class of medications called bisphosphonates.
It works by preventing bone breakdown and increasing bone density and thickness
Ibandronate comes as a tablet to taken by mouth.
The usual dose of the tabet is 150 mg which is usually taken once a month in the morning on an empty stomach.
Consult your doctor before taking the drug
As she is having difficuty in breathing and cannot ay her on right side she can be given moist oxygen inhaation with a help of portabe cycinder and she has to take chest physiotherapy
