Suggest Treatment For Deviated Septum
Steam inhalation should help.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
You need to understand the condition that you have. The nasal septum is supposed to lie in the middle so that the sinuses from both the sides have enough space to drain. But with the nasal septum twisted and deviated to one side, the sinuses do not get enough space to drain and thereby the symptoms result.
Although the mentioned medicines can reduce nasal congestion to some extent, the underlying pathology remains, and so the problems persist. This leads to problems in the pharynx as well as thickened mucus which in turn clogs the tubes that connect the inner throat to the middle ear cavity and therefore the middle ear problems come up as well.
In order to relieve the situation, there are a couple of things that you need to do. The first is to take steam inhalation. Water in form of vapor reaches deep inside and helps in diluting the mucus, thus providing relief. The next thing is to get a septoplasty done for correction of the deviation of the nasal septum. I do not think that anything else will help.
Let me know if I could help further.
