Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Let me answer your question one by one.
1. It is always better to start the medications. Diabetes is a disease that has to be controlled early and aggressively. So don't waste valuable time.
2. If you prefer to continue without medications. I suggest you to do these blood tests.
a)Fasting and after food sugars (Target FBS less than 130 mg/dl, PPBS less than 180 mg/dl)
b) HbA1C 3-6 monthly (Target less than 7%)
c) Annual check up of diabetes (to look for organ damage like eyes, kidney, nerves, etc)
If all the tests above are within target always, you can continue without medications.
3. Diabetic diet is - Eating healthy at right time in right proportions. Try to have diet 6-7 times a day. 3 main meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and 3-4 snacks will do. Avoid white sugar, decrease rice, increase fruits and vegetables. Eat low calorie high fibre diet which is available in your social background. Both fasting and feasting should be avoided.
4. It is better that you do your physical activity every day instead of 3 days a week and once a week. Most important thing in diabetes id a time table - for your diet, exercise and medications
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Would you recommend any good Diabetes care clinics in XXXXXXX North?
20-30 minutes per day
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Exercise recommendation in diabetes is brisk walking for 20-30 minutes covering 3-4 km per day - at least 6 days a week. Start with slow walking over 30 minutes - then try to cover the same distance in 20 minutes over 2-3 weeks time. Maximum exercise free period is two consecutive days.
Since I do not know any doctor personally in XXXXXXX here I am giving some hospitals name: XXXXXXX diabetic centre, MV diabetic centre, Apollo diabetic centre etc are there in XXXXXXX Your sugars are not grossly elevated. So any physician or endocrinologist you are comfortable with can help your needs.
Wishing you good health
