Suggest Treatment For Diabetes
Question: my mother has type 2 diabetes, i was searching for a best doctor to treat her but i was very confused in diabetologist and endocrinologist.both specialty treats DMTYPE 2 then which specialty is best for my mother's daibetes

However I will advise you to consult at least a Diabetologist with MD MEDICINE degree so he would have thorough knowledge of all other system.
Other general precautions she should take is
Check FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly.
Do daily walking and exercise.
Target HBA1c is less than 7.
Usually, diabetes is easy to treat condition, in rare cases required endocrinologist opinion.

but u see the difference of qualification
endocrinologist has MBBS MD and the last DM
daibetogist has MBBS and MD
so don't u think 1st one is much more qualified than 2nd one.

Hi.. I can definitely understand your question. I have treated thousands of difficult cases of diabetes without any difficulties ever..
I am MD MEDICINE only and can treat any type of complicated cases of diabetes easily. So theoretically or practically in my personal opinion for diabetes only you can go for Diabetologist with MD degree only.
Your targets should be HBA1c less than 7.
FBS less than 130 and PP2BS less than 160-170.
If you still unsatisfied with your Diabetologist, you can go for endocrinologist for better satisfaction when needed..
