Brief Answer:
It is unlikely to have diarrhea 6 years after surgery...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!
You are reporting to have gallbladder removal and now you have diarrhea.

It's true that diarrhea is a side effect of gallbladder removal but it starts immediately after surgery and follow for all entire life. It is unlikely to start 6 years after surgery.
If I were your treating doctor firstly I would rule out/confirm other causes of diarrhea like:
- bowel infection
- malabsorption
- pancreatic issues.
- thyroid hormone
This is why I strongly suggest to do exams like:
- abdominal ultrasound
- fecal test for candida/ culture stool test
- fecal malabsorption test
- TSH and T3,T4 level
Meantime I suggest doing as follows :
- use probiotics
- take plenty of water
- avoid fatty and sugar foods
Hope it was helpful to you!
