I had loose motion and i took Norfloxacin-TZ ,two tablets one in morning and one in evening.Now I am having blooding with stool,also feeling constipation. what to do?

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
You seem to be suffering from Acute Infective Diarrhea/ Acute Gastro-Enteritis.
Most of the times the diarrhea are viral in origin and it improves with in 3-5 days without any antibiotic therapy. But since you have got blood in stools, we would consider it to be bacterial dysentery,
I would recommend for you antibiotics like Ofloxacin and Ornidazole for.
You should also take Probiotics containing Lactobacillus which helps a lot.
You should consume yog hurt in diet that also acts as a very good natural probiotic.
In case you have any persistent vomiting's you would require anti-emetics like Domperidone and Ondansetron.
Drink plenty Oral Rehydration syrup (ORS) for the purpose of re-hydration.
Make sure you are passing urine frequently. If the urine is yellowish in color, it indicated persistent dehydration or jaundice.
