Posted on Fri, 12 Feb 2016
Question: hello. Me and my wife are trying to have an intercourse. It seems to be painful for her. My penis wont enter her vagina completely as she experiences pain as soon as my penis is half inside. Even i experience pain when my foreskin is back and try to enter her. However, on using some lubricant the act is better but we are still not able enjoy it. Can you please suggest us what can be done?

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Lox 2 jelly is not a lubricant, it is an anesthetic gel.
It numbs the area to which it is applied, so that sensations are not felt, and your partner will allow you to enter her.
But she will not feel any sensations or enjoy the sexual experience, due to the numbing gel.
You need to use a proper lubricant.
Use KY jelly - small amount around 2 - 5 ml.
Use it on your penis and a small amount inside her vagina.
Similarly, Petroleum jelly can also be used for this purpose.
More important is to focus on technique.
Foreplay is vital, as good foreplay will mean that she is automatically aroused and her secretions will serve as good lubricant.
Focus more on massage, fondling and fingering.
That will pave the way for the final act of penetration.
It is worthwhile to consult a good Sexologist ( qualified person, not the many quacks who abound ) and learn good sexual techniques to relax her and enjoy intercourse together.
Please consult a gynecologist also, as she might be having vaginismus ( tightness of the local muscles ) and once this is treated, she will enjoy sexual intercourse.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Thank you so much for the answer doctor. A sexologist suggested us to use this lox 2 jelly. Can I use this on my Penis? What effect will it have? will it delay the ejaculation? Is there any side effects of using this? What should be the quantity to be used?
Also, can I use LOX 2 jelly for the first time both on my penis and my wife's vagina so that even though the sensations are not felt, the vaginal muscles would loosen on the first successful intercourse? Later, may be we can just use only the lubricant you suggested.
What can be done for the sensitivity of my penis when the foreskin is slipped back? It hurts if I try to enter my wife without a condom.
How long would the sensitivity be lost after applying LOX 2 jelly?

Detailed Answer:
Well yes, you can use it on your penis.
If the problem is with ejaculation, then yes, it will prolong and delay your ejaculation.
There are no side effects, but you may feel slight numbing on the area.
2 ml may be used.
Yes, you can use it so that even though sensations are not felt, there will be no resistance from the muscles.
For the sensitivity of your penis, you can use lox jelly.
Once there is no resistance from your wife, and sex is easy, there will be no sensitivity on the foreskin.
The effect of Lox 2 jelly last for almost one hour.
