Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Retracting Foreskin
Question: Hi Doctor, I am 26, recently found my foreskin not stretching back at all. Also there were some crack seen on inner side of the foreskin and it started bleeding. Also now i cant have sex at all. This really worries me, let me know what can be done as i clean it regularly now a days but it pains a lots and starts bleeding
Brief Answer:
May need Circumcision
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
What you have described is the classical features of what we term chronic balanoposthitis, where the foreskin loses its suppleness and becomes thicker and tends to get cracked.
This happens in diabetics frequently, and though you are young, I suggest you get your sugar levels checked straightaway.
You could try using a local antiseptic or antibiotic cream like neosporin but most likely you will benefit from Circumcision which is a simple surgery that can be performed under local anaesthesia where the foreskin is trimmed up to the corona ridge which should give you a very healthy and permanent solution.
Hope I have been of help.

Do you have any suggestion for any centers or anyone in XXXXXXX who can help with the same situation.
Brief Answer:
any reasonably good Urologist should be adequate
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The condition is a fairly common and benign one, and I'd suggest you can meet any good Urologist at a hospital which is logistically convenient as well.
If required, the Urologist may refer you to a dermatologist so its probably a good idea to go to a multi specialty hospital than a stand alone clinic.
Let me know the progress, and if any doubts, please get back to me.
Best wishes.
