The weight gain you are experiencing may be due to thyroid issue that you are having.
Cartigen forte tablets do not contain any ingredients that may be harmful to your gut mucosa. It may cause bloating and gaseous distention though.
You can take it on alternate day,with a minimum required dose,say half tablet at one time...see if you have any complaints ,and then ,if you fell that you can tolerate it,you can continue with the full recommended dose.
Do not forget to take probiotic tablets along with it

You can take Darolac or Eugee sachets.1 XXXXXXX should be taken 2 hours after taking the dose of Cartigen forte tablet,mixed in one glass of water.
These probiotics should be continued as long as you take Cartigen forte tablets.
