Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Back Pain And Excessive Sweating

default
Posted on Tue, 27 Sep 2016
Question: I have been feeling very very hot, dizzy, queasy, weak and faint for about a week now. I have middle back pain and I'm sweating a lot. I don't have a fever. Other people around have been feeling sick, but my symptoms seem worse.

I've been eating low carb since May. I've gone from 180-149. Sometimes the diet makes me feel lousy (but this seems worse than usual). I'm not sure if I'm getting true hot flashes yet. If I am, they come in sporadic clumps. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Brief Answer:
Can be hot flashes or decreased fluid intake.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The symptoms that you have could be related to hot flashes, decreased fluid intake, decreased vitamin B levels or a viral infection. I would advise that you support your body with good hydration, adequate sleep, a well-balanced diet and a moderate exercise regimen. Exercise is actually good for the immune system which is why I suggest it here. In addition you can supplement your diet with some Vitamin C - 1000 mg and vitamin B complex daily and consider drinking some immune boost type of tea such as Echinacea which is readily available at most supermarkets.
I expect your symptoms to gradually level off and improve over the next week or two. In the event that this does not occur, I suggest you visit with your primary physician for a complete physical exam and possibly some blood work as well.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

You were exactly right. Thank you. I was dehydrated. I drank some liquids (Gatorade), and ate a couple chips and I feel so much better. Radically better.
