Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Hot Flashes, Nausea And Sinus Infection

It could be dyspepsia and not just acid peptic problem.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone very carefully through your query.
Our gastrointestinal tract has a forward propulsive movement (peristalsis) that moves the food material forward as it is digested, absorbed and finally expelled as feces. If somehow this movement gets hampered or there is a infection in gut, food along with the digestive juices would stagnate, stomach acid will reflux into the food pipe.Degradation of undigested food in the intestines by the intestinal bacteria would lead to the contamination in the particular area of intestine. This would cause severe swelling in intestine causing nausea and other symptoms.
I would suggest you following tests-
Ultra sound abdomen
Stool test under microscope
Complete blood count
Total and differential leucocyte count.
If stool test is positive for bacterial or protozoal infection.Start taking Zithromax(Azithromycin 500 mg once daily) and secnidazole 1 gram daily for 5 days.
As of now to control burning sensation pepcid 40 is a bit low dose.I would suggest you to add Levosulpiride. Itis a prokinetic drug and is very effective in controlling reflux of acid back into esophagus.A better way is to take it with Rabeprazole trials have shown that its very effective when combined with Rabeprazole. So you can switch over to Rabeprazole from pepcid.
Add a probiotic like VSl#3 twice daily to replete the gut flora.
General precautions are-
Follow a bland diet (low in fat, not spicy)
Eat frequent, small meals.
Avoid the use of alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine.
Do not eat food less than 2 hours before bedtime.
Raise the head of the bed before sleeping.
Avoid clearing of the throat.
Zofran can be taken as and when required.
