Suggest Treatment For Double Vision

It is not a detached retina.
Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you to my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.
Retinal detachment has different presentation. It usually presents with:
Flashing lights, sudden loss of vision and floating objects in the entire field of vision, multiple black dots in visual fields to total blackouts.
But I may not totally rule out the possibility of the retinal detachment as you have had 6 Whiplash injuries. So, I preferably suggest you to get investigated and physically examined by an Ophthalmologist. Make an appointment as per your ease to get it evaluated in person.
There are other reasons which also should be kept in mind regarding your symptoms:
*Diabetes Mellitus also leads to some visual abnormalities which differ in different patients depending on the degree of damage to the eyes by Sorbitol (excess glucose deposits in eye).
*Eye's outer lining irritation and inflammation also may cause such symptoms as you feel.
*Sleep Deprivation is a name of a Syndrome of a Pandora box of symptoms. On top list of that is double vision or diplopia. Anxiety and depression also adds up to this problem.
Preventive Measure:
Take proper rest. Good night's sleep is a must for a healthy vision and good health overall.
Take plenty of fluids especially judicious amount of clean drinking water.
If not checked/screened before, get yourself screened for Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus.
No Caffeine containing fluids and foods. Coffee, tea, chocolates, beverages, energy drinks etc etc.
Vegetables and salads are good for you.
A proper physical activity is necessary for healthy heart and unclogged blood vessels in every organ. Keep it as a habit in everyday life.
Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you in no time. If satisfied here, please give a generous five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up after sometime regarding the treatment efficacy and to see any need to change the treatment options is very necessary. Keep a follow up some days after this visit session ends.
Regards!
