Question: I have a dry sore cough and my glands are swollen will metrogyl 200mg 3 times a day with food help

Thanks for the query

It looks like you are suffering from pharyngitis. Most often it is self limiting and does not require any anitbiotic.
Here are my suggestions

1. Gargle your throat three times daily with salt water
2. Syp Ascoril D three times daily will help with the cough
3. Metrogyl is not the right antibiotic, a better drug would be Tab Amox with clavulanic acid three times daily for 5 days.
