Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough With Sore Throat

Question: I am having dry whopping cough for the last 3-4 days with sore throat, could you please advice medicine for same as i was taking Belladona 200 & Barytacarbonica 30 daily twice.
My 6 year old is also having only cough, please advice medicine so that we both can take the same and get relief asap.
Please also suggest food precautions.

Based on the symptom i am suggesting some medicine for you and you may start as prescribed
Spongia 30 6 pills three times in day
Drosera 6 4 drops twice in day on the tongue
Coccus Cacti Q 15 drops with half cup of water three times in day
Belladona is baryta carb is suggested in case where inflammation is tonsil is noticed

For baby
Phytolacca D Q 10 drops twice in day with half cup of water
Belladona 30 6 pills twice in day
Ammonium Carb 30 6 pills twice in a day (Only if morning cough and congestion)
Take the medicine for 20 days and it will cure the problem

For baby avoid cold drink cold things exposure to cold.
Hot soup is good in such case.

Are the prescribed medicines for me for tonsillitis or other symptoms, as i am planning to use them to avoid frequent throat infections.

Medicine is not for tonsillitis problem. Medicines are suggested only for the whooping cough due to seasonal changes. If you think there is inflammation of throat then you may continue the Belladona 30 and baryta carb 30 as earlier prescribed doses.
You may observed following symptom in tonsillitis
1 Redness and inflammation in throat
2 Difficulty to speech, drink and eat
3 tonsil are swollen (You may check your throat in mirror)
4 Pain in throat and some time mild fever is noticed
In case of throat infection continue the medicine for 1 month atleast.

I am not getting Coccus Cacti Q 15 drops, please suggest alternative for same, i am continuing the following:
1)Spongia 30
2)Drosera 30

8-10 drops in water, 2-3 times in a day for whooping cough and planning to continue for one month, please let me know in case of any issues.

Meanwhile continue the rest of medicine Spongia 30 and Drosera 6 or 30 as prescribed dose

Hello
I am revising medicine this time. No need to take Ammonium Carb presribed in earlier query. Instead of that take Hyocymus 6 prefferably and if not avilable take Hyocymus 30.
If you get Hyocymus 6 then take 3 drops on the tongue twice in day. If you get 30 potency then take 6 pills twice in a day.
Rest of the medicine will be same as prescribed.
