Question: Is there a way to prevent the vomiting/dry heaves and sweating ? Why does this happen to me after I have gone to bed. I will let my Dr. know your suggestions about the medications. Thank you any additional information you may have. Roxanne Ronsvalle

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The dry heaves, vomiting and sweating especially when in the supine position could be related with a gastric condition that has to do with acid reflux.

I wish to ask you a few questions, and would request your kind reply to each question please:

1. Do you have heartburn?
2. Do you experience abdominal bloating?
3. Sensation of something or a lump at the back of your throat?
4. Sore throat?
5. Dry cough?
6. Hoarseness of voice?
7. Regurgitation of food or liquid into your mouth?
8. Bitter taste in your mouth mostly due to regurgitation of food or liquid into your mouth?
9. Difficulty swallowing at times?
