Yes it is normal to see dry mouth as side effect in patients taking Olanzapine. Dry mouth, constipation and blurred vision is seen commonly in some individuals apart from other common side effects. Usually these side effects reduce after some weeks of therapy and only in some individuals cause significant impairment. If the side effect of dry mouth is causing impairment then you can use sugar free chewing gums to prevent dryness for some days. Take plenty of water. No need to worry for the side effect, this is totally normal.
